Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant / Accounts Clerk

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

We are seeking a committed person who takes pride in their work, to join our friendly and supportive team.
You will be responsible for managing accounts processes from start to finish, maintaining and keeping all financial records up to date, raising invoices, credit notes, and troubleshooting any queries that may rise.
You’ll be using a variety of finance and payment software including Xero, Stripe, Opayo, Worldpay and Google Sheets ensuring a high level of efficiency are delivered at all times.

Key responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices
- Nominal journals
- Raising draft invoices
- Raising credit notes and refunds
- Ad hoc accounting administration
- General housekeeping and filings of invoices / financial records
What do we need from you?
- At least 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role
- An aptitude for IT; knowledge of software packages like Excel, Office 365, / Google Sheets / Excel programmes essential
- Use of Xero desirable
- Good time keeping management
- Self-disciple and ability to work under pressure
- Good organisational, communicational and time management skills
- Polite and friendly telephone manner
- Ability to work independent and part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
